The Repertory Dance Theater has been in Eugene for six days, offering several performances and educational outreach programs for the University of Oregon, Lane Community College, and the community. Their appearance was made possible by a generous grant from the New England Foundation for the Arts National Dance Project and the National Endowment for the Arts. Here is a summary of their residency work:

A work described as flawless, visually stunning and beautifully shaped, the solos, duets and quartets in Chairs reveal the full spectrum of human emotion and experience. Born and raised in Israel, ZVI GOTHEINER came to the US in 1978 on a dance scholarship and went on to dance with Feld Ballets/NY, the Bat-Sheva Dance Company, among others. His works are inspired by his Jewish heritage and growing up in a Jewish community.
