Eugene's 'Pueblo a Pueblo' event is a concert and art exhibit showcasing some of Latin America's finest songwriters and some of Eugene's outstanding visual artists.
Pueblo a Pueblo (roughly, 'People to People') seeks to promote a genuine inter-cultural exchange, bringing together the wondrous creativity of our local visual artists and the sublime artistry of Latin America's great acoustic tradition. It is safe to say that the event fills a unique cultural space in Eugene. While a number of Latin music acts pass thorugh this area each year, they invariably cater to commercial tastes and mass audiences. In contrast, we seek to present sophisticated music that is outside of the mainstream, in a relaxed setting and free of cost .
