"The Singing Revolution" is a gripping documentary film about that country's successful nonviolent struggle for independence. It will be shown twice in Eugene in conjunction with a November 16th Estonian music concert conducted by visiting music professor Hirvo Surva who is prominent in the film.

Free public screenings of "The Singing Revolution," will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday Nov. 10th at the University of Oregon's Lillis Building in room 111 and on Saturday, Nov. 14th at 7:00 PM at the Eugene Hotel, 222 E. Broadway. Q&A with special guest Hirvo Surva, a renowned conductor of the Estonian Song Festival will follow the 11/10 screening.
