Due to illness, concert postponed

Passion Pit Fans-
We are sorry to inform you that tonight's Passion Pit show has been postponed.

Lead singer Michael Angelakos has contracted a serious cold and his voice is completely out of commission.

We are working on rescheduling them for a later date and will make that announcement as soon as we have a confirmed show.

We were looking forward to having the show tonight, but unfortunately it cannot go on under these circumstances.

A statement by Michael Angelakos:

To all who planned on attending the Passion Pit show in Eugene, Oregon:

We are very sorry to inform you that we, Passion Pit, are canceling tonight's show at University of Oregon. I fell ill this morning and it has rendered me completely unable to sing.

As frustrated as the band and I are with the situation, it is obviously out of our hands. It is, however, imperative that we explain the situation to you all and thank you for your support and understanding of this matter. We appreciate you immensely and we are very sorry to let you down.

Again, we sincerely regret the cancelation and we are doing our best to find a way to make up this show in the near future.
