The Cultural Forum is a program of the University of Oregon, presenting a broad selection of music, performing arts, film, contemporary issues, and the visual arts. Cultural Forum events are conceived of, initiated, negotiated, booked, promoted and carried out by student coordinators with the support of dedicated staff members. Programs reflect a wide range of diversity and artistic expression in the entertainment, art and political worlds.

A program of the Erb Memorial Union, the Cultural Forum is funded by student incidental fees, event revenue, grants, and sponsorships. For more information on how to support cultural events, please contact our office.

If you are a student please consider employment with the Cultural Forum. We hire future event coordinators in the Winter and Spring. The Cultural Forum provides training, budget, professional support and a positive, fun, learning/working environment. Students create the content presented by the Cultural Forum, professional staff advise/teach students to effectively realize  their vision.  Work with the Cultural Forum provides practical, demonstrable, real-world experiences that are valuable to future employers or graduate programs. Most importantly … the CULTURAL FORUM IS FUN!!!!

If you are an artist, UO faculty/staff or another presenting organization please contact us. We often partner with other organizations and artists on the presentation of arts/educational events. Students need content to present and community members to build their networks. We can connect you with a student event planner.

I hope you will join our email list and follow us on face book. Please attend our events.
